Hello,
I cannot choose to change the default shell from powershell to cmd in VS code as shown in the tutorial video (8:44). The drop-down menu list to select the default shell is not present.

It’s not helpful for us that they keep changing the UI 
Ctrl + Shift + P > search “Terminal” > Set Default Profile.
I think you can also get that from the drop menu as well.
