Here is picture to show some changes i have made to the multiresolution remeshed dragon. The remeshed dragon is in front and the multiresolution remeshed dragon is behind it. you can see how some things are moved and shaped differently in the multiresolution sculpt. Is it fine if positiions and shape are slightly changed like in the picture.

Sure, you can move around existing geometry. To be safe, you can just save the blend file or make a duplicate of the multires dragon before any changes in case you change your mind later.

Yes. Alter the base mesh first, then finer details on the higher resolution version and ‘apply base’ now and again to keep them in tune with each other.

ok got it. could you make a dragon like this by doing it like the orc character? sculpt fine details first and remesh/retopologize after?

Techniques are the same regardless of shape.
Multi res when used allows you to switch back and forth more than is viable only sculpting.
But always start with the basic shapes not the details.
