Camera Probs

I dont know whats happening, but my camara is different to bens and and stuff is just going weird, i feel like i have tried everything please help!

Could you take a screenshot and pop it in a reply so that we can see what the issue looks like please.

Im not to sure, but its the camera and the playspace or something, it looks different, and when i type in the coords of 1 in does not go to the area, something like that

What position is your level canvas GameObject at? Another screenshot perhaps.

Hi,

The most noticeable thing I am seeing is that most of your transform positions appear to be off, if these aren’t inline with the course then you are going to find it more difficult when you try to place the defenders/attackers. If you start making little adjustments to compensate for that it’s likely to get very confusing.

I would recommend going back through this lecture and paying close attention to the locations and sizes of the main camera, the level canvas. If it helps, pop the video in a slower playback speed or pause it so you can check what you have against the lecture.

The items which look a bit off to me at a glance are;

  • Main Camera
    • Transform
      • Position - Y component
      • Scale - Y component
    • Camera Component
      • Size
  • Level Canvas
    • Transform
      • Position X component
      • Position Y component

Have a run back through and compare/correct your values against the course. If you are still experiencing problems after, pop a reply back up and I’ll take a look for you :slight_smile:

Don’t forget, if you make changes to the above, you will want to update your prefabs also, this will save you having to correct things in every scene.

Thanks! So much! After i fixed the camera i reset the tranform of my camera and game space so it went to the origin, so that my coords system worked

The Gnome does not have a attack animation? I chose the Gnome and if i choose lizard now everything will mess up :frowning:

Glad to hear the camera and canvas issues are resolved.
