C++ Challenge Main Function

Hi, I’m totally new to C++ and I’m supposed to start a new topic and try to explain the main function.
Well this is going to be a little bit embarrassing, but I’ll give it a shot. I try to keep it as simple as it can be:

I guess the main function is sort of an overall function, from where I start or conduct other functions I’ve written.

I hope I will be enlightened on this following the course

Yes, you are right. The Main function is simply the function that gets executed when you start the program.
