My Start and Quit buttons don’t respond despite attaching the button component. Maybe I’m missing something. I attached a screenshot of my components. I would love some help. Thank you.

Turns out the problem was because I didn’t have an Event System in my scene 
. Well here’s the solution if anyone in future needs it.
