Bull cow game assets

Hey there! this is just a quick question of curiosity…
i was wondering how the models of the bull cow game were made and how the landform painting textures or materials were made since nothing was mentioned in the course.
were the projects exported from blender by any chance? the course wont be showing how to do those models will it?
thank you for your time and thank you for clearing my doubts!

The landscape is using the assets from the Stylized Rendering sample project which you can find in the learn tab under “Legacy Samples”. The cow was added from the Content Examples.

Oh thanks a lot that was useful!
If I were to make a game from scratch then can I make the models in unreal engine or should I make it in some other software and import it to unreal?

Well ideally you would make it in something like Blender. Unreal does has “geometry brushes” which as per the article:

Warning
Geometry Brushes are not recommended as a final method of level design. It is not required, but can be useful at the early stages of creation.
