Building a bridge

Hi,

Following Rick I wanted to make a bridge but using a prop object since I had it in my asset pack.

I created a river and popped the bridge in there, but I can’t seem to get it to connect the NavMesh, I have found a component called NavMeshLink but really struggling to apply it on a curved bridge like that.

What do I need to do?

Thanks for any suggestions!

BTW, my terrain is completely flat except for the river, so what are those? :frowning:

Did you mark the bridge as static? The navmesh should pick up the bridge as part of the terrain if you do and generate across it. Note that the bridge is quite narrow and the ‘agent radius’ might affect how (and if) the navmesh generates across the bridge

The terrain is not completely flat. There is a curve leading into the river. at certain points, that curve is still within the configured slope and the navmesh - trying to be as efficient as it can - has lowered the vertices that sit on those slopes. This causes the triangle that it creates to clip through the mesh. This shouln’t be a problem

I did not marked the bridge as static, that was the issue.

I have evened the terrain and added automatic voxel size and now the triangles are gone, thanks!
