Or at least I hope so. I had understood mildly what I was trying to do with the challenge of finishing up the isogram, but essentially was trying to “Append” or add the letter to the letterseen map. So I was confused for a moment when I couldn’t find those functions.
I finish the video, and being able to say Letterseen[Letter] = true; in relation to a Tmap is amazing. I don’t even fully understand the ramifications of how it can be used, but I finally see the mechanics in practice that Ben was explaining with x log x in the earlier lesson. Using the Tmap is truly a 1:1 ratio and although it’s small, its the tiny breakthroughs like this I cherish most.
