This was a test to see how much patience I had with rendering times. Not much. Rendering children made with the grease pencil which are also made of glass takes loads of time. Figuring out how to make the physics work and using the rendering layers was challenging but satisfying at the end.
I have no idea if layers of glass would break like this, I don’t think so, but I could’t find reference material for this specifically so I just winged it.
If you are rendering in png images and you want to stop and resume later, remember to bake the animation.
