Do you refer to transparent PNG? I got them from something called pngtree, freepik, pixabay or something like that. They were not great, but useful enough (and I still did not know that/how I could easily make them look better, so they are actually more useful now when I need them! ). Curious enough, I have a subscription to Adobe Cloud that includes some stock images, but I always managed to find something elsewhere
Textures.com hasn’t been free for a very long time. You are much better off searching for brush alphas and seeing what you discover, or making your own. See this post; OP found resources for making his own brush alphas and had good success with it:
OK… Thanks … Ill have another look … After a bit of nap I suddenly realized id got the idea in my head they needed other normal maps and stuff to go with them to make them work like the textures … … Its just the png one needs !!! so I guess that sould be a bit easier , maybe even google images …
Isn’t ZBrush paid though? I know you get a free trial, but I have no idea if any provided brush alphas would be usable after that trial period expires. The downloads are free, but they come in proprietary file formats that may or may not be convertible without ZBrush itself =)
Sorry … Missed your reply to Bookmarking the other Day and it seems to be bumped and unreplyable in the meantime … Luckily my Game Dev interface seems to have automatically slipped back out of the Beta or whatever was going on with it and it is now useable without risk of aneurism …
Hi … Ive got Gimp but have never used it so … Ill have to inspect it closer sometime .I have resorted to using a bit of a dodgy PNG Transparent branch I found for starting my branching but so far not too bad … Quite satisfying putting my branch together after for some reason… Twigophile Perhaps ? Maybe try making a few of my own Transparents a bit later… I gots some nice Transparents on the Pixaby for future projects perhaps … Must go photograph some branches before all the Trees Die …
