I did not use animations. This was completely based on physics.
Added a force behind the ball to push it.
Well it works! Force not used in this course as far as I recall. Cant cover everything and Blender has a huge amount of capabilities.
Yeah. Force was not used in this lesson. The recommendation was to use key-frame animations and rigid bodies.
But it did not felt very clean to me. I mean this challenge is a perfect usecase for using forces, so why not
So a little bit of experimenting, a little bit of Google, and I was able to use forces to throw the ball.
But you did not learn the animation movement and switching from one to the other!
Though it sounds like you are more than capable of it anyway.
Hahaha. That’s true. I missed learning the animation part. But I will absolutely learn that too before proceeding. Maybe another version of this scene or with something else.
Its just that I so badly wanted to do this with physics
