Exellent full bowling alley scene! :star:

Great scene… Lanes are very short and needs a little more lighting though?

I will check my scale again. I thought I had everything scaled properly. And the bowling alley is closed lol. Seriously I worked on the lighting for 2 hours. I am doing it in another scene right now. I guess I need an in-depth class on lighting. I can not get anything to go brighter. Suggestions welcome.

Definitely not a criticism… You’ve done a fantastic job modelling and on materials and the lighting is only a little dark.

The lane is 60 feet from the front (fowl line) to the first pin. Maybe yours is to scale, it’s not majorly important.

Lighting is so tricky. I’m only getting to grips with it myself.

Do you have a HDRI… You can increase it beyond 0.00 - 1.00.

You can increase the watts of individual lights or even create a simple 4 X 4 or bigger overhead array of (perhaps point) lights.

Angle and get the correct watts and just Shift D to duplicate like any object. You could set snapping to increment to lay them out evenly.

Again, no criticism… you’ve created a wonderful scene way beyond the scope of the tutorial.

I didn’t take it as criticism, I really wanted to know. I downloaded a diagram of a lane of the internet for reference. I think, after looking what happened is I extended the floor by the camera and the returns did not match the ball, so I made it bigger. (I should have scaled the whole scene to the ball and pin. Thank you for your input.

I was using the no HDRI. I have 5 lights (a 3 point setup, An area light, and emissions around the TV screen and stripped around the top of the gutter).

Super Dope reflex in the floor from the screens in the 1Âş image.

And the balls super cool textures. Cant wait to learn to use material like those or even make theam

I do make my textures for the most part (Occasionally use others textures). Everything here I generated in Blender. I find you have more control on your objects this way.

It’s really cool! I am excited for the next course now
