In Evee, some books seem to blend together so it looks quite wrong:

This is because Eevee, doesn’t work accurate on shadows, because it makes Eevee slow.
You can switch on better shadow options for Eevee, but it cost more render time.
Try AO:
… then mess with the settings to find something closer to the Cycles render… But don’t stress too much about it… Michael covers Eevee render settings in more depth in later lectures.
As @FedPete points out, every Eevee option has a processing time cost, which is why most Eevee options are off by default.
