Bones aren't selecting properly

Hey there, I’ve been trying to do this eyeball/head rig and animation section for a few days now, I can’t seem to work the bones at all.

When I create the first bone at the neckline for the cranium, it works fine, it moves the head and does what it’s supposed to, but when I go to add the eyeball bones, I can’t select ‘just the head’ part of those, it always selects the cranium/neck bone even if I’m trying to click on the bone in the eyeball. And when I parent the eyeball model to the eyeball_bone, the eyeball teleports somewhere else and scales itself to the size of the head… I will try to create a video on it but I’m not entirely sure how to go about it yet.

Any answers/responses on how I can fix this or what the issue is, would be greatly appreciated.

You NEED to apply LOCATION, ROTATION and SCALE to your objects.

Because all object connected to a bone, will receive the aspects of that bone. Replacing or acting on the behaviours (rotation, location, scale) you have set earlier.
