Kinda like the geometry going about here, and it’s easy to get but nearly at the 10k tris limit. I brought it down to ~8.8k tris.

Yes the pattern is nice. Holes look good too.
Very simplistic so far but I really wanna put more thought in this.
Is there a pretty way to etch the edges with lines of uniform thickness?
There’s so much that can be done on this ball…
I’ll just let it be for now.
