2nd version of another toy plane (using extrusion and collapsing edges)
this was modeled after a toy. I sort of lost control when trying to move individual edges (to create wedges from extruded cubes). I guess I may try a different way and will review the lecture again. it is a really different concept of drawing to what I’m accustomed.
well, I looked at other models by classmates and thought about the lecture and realized I really didn’t practice extruding at all. but most of the planes I saw were using a bit more complex shapes than I know how to work with. so I created a simple exercise for myself (just extrude a bunch of cubes to create some architectural structure). my main rule was that the structure should have symmetry.
here is the result from a couple of angles.
