Block Breaker Painter

Hi all, here is my block breaker game. Usually this type of design is not my style, but it actually was fun making it. I am a lousy programmer (hence why I am taking this course), so I tried to put in some more features. I had trouble with the “boring loops” though, so I hope I fixed it at least so that you can enjoy playing it. Here is the link: https://sharemygame.com/@nyroc/block-painter

Fun game, with really catchy music! Also: EXTREME PADDLE

And I’m yealous of the paint buckets that represent lives, I gave up on using images for those myself.

Thank you for your comment and I am happy you liked it.
It took me some time on youtube to figure out how to get the buckets into the game.

Wow, thanks! I was looking for how to add the images to the Canvas, so they would not interact with the game itself. But just add them to the camera area and don’t add a collider… duh!

But maybe don’t take too much inspiration from the code of that video though

After reading your reply I opened up another thread about how I implemented the code I learned through the video…here’s the link to the threadhttps://community.gamedev.tv/t/display-of-lives-using-ui-element-images/148170
