The problem was that the site needs to have a www. in front.
I’ve gotten used to nowhere requiring that.

Yes they are suffering a ddos attack. Seems under control but is slowing everything up.

A bit strange and a very old way of doing so. Maybe related to this DDOS attack.
www means World Wide Web, and is basically a default setup.

True, but I have a habit of bookmarking sites such as Blender.org, so I just click on the bookmark to get there, and don’t have issues doing so because the bookmarks will have the “www” setup.
