Blender Unit using v3.1

Regarding the Blender Unit…
1 - I have brought in models from other programs and some of them come in huge. When zoomed way in, how can you then tell what one Blender Unit is as the grid boxes work with the large zoom. Grid darker lines and lighter lines. (The grid looks the same in the huge model as the default box.)
2 - In Unity one unit = 1 cm. What is one Blender Unit in metric?

In older blender versions a blender unit was an imaginary Blender unit.
The cube was 2 Blender units in dimension. From the 0,0,0 world coordinates, 1 Blender unit up, down, left, right, front and back.

The latest Blender versions use metrics!

A standard Blender cube is 2 meters in dimension, 1 meter up, down …
You can change Blender metrics in different standards, even the old one ‘Blender units’.
Be aware to apply scale, before exporting …

One unit in Blender is One Metre.

So every cm of your imported Unity object became a metre.
