Hello! I have, hopefully, a quick question regarding importing my model to Mixamo. I think I must have missed what to do with my multi resolution modifier, because whenever I export I suddenly have 500k+ faces instead of 20. I’m not sure where I missed what, and I’m hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
Blender has its own way of describing how a model is constructed, using modifiers and such.
Other packages don’t know anything about this, so your models exported do have modifiers applied. Apply all blender stuff, get a clean model. Upload, or export it in a general format.
Sounds like you missed the entire baking process. The HP details get baked down on to the LP.
I did the baking part, except I baked from the multires and it looked like it worked, does that mean it didn’t entirely?
Well it sounds like you perhaps kept modifiers on the low poly? So on export they were applied creating the lager geometry.
I’ve got it fixed now, thanks! I just rebaked a few things and it’s looking good now
