Blender on Steam is convenient if you already have Steam. As a bonus Steam will keep Blender up-to-date automatically.

Note that the Steam version currently only supports stable-latest (2.83 as of writing) and back-porting to 2.79a - so no experimental builds yet. Hopefully that will get added in the future.

Thanks for the course revamp… seems like a massive upgrade. :+1:

Makes sense. Stick to the stable. Having every latest update really is not that needed unless there is some vital new ability or fix.
