Blender Material Nodes - Sandcastle using Sand sculpture and desert materials

Just completed the sand sculpture and desert material nodes. During the sand sculpture section, Stephen mentioned try building a sandcastle in order to test out the material. So I did just that. This was fun and was a good exercise as my hard-surface modeling improved with each sandcastle tower I created.

I’d say that’s putting it mildly.

@mfortunato This really is a fantastic piece of work. :grinning:

Thank you very much! It took some time but was really fun to do. And I really like these materials. Very happy to be building up a material library for future use.

Thank you, Stephen. And thanks for the excellent tutorials. I’m working my way through the mud shader now and have gone off on a tangent. I started creating other procedural shaders using the shader nodes such as polished wood and scratched plastics which I am adding to my asset library. Building my shader army, as it were.
