Nice idea and texture
Well, I admire your blueish Ogre hope that I will be able to put something like yours together too
I started at some point with a dino too .
By the way, if you want to come and practice in the weekly Blender Collabs, you will be very welcome! Just check them and try something whenever you want.
From your second screenshot, why do I get the sense your dino wants us all to inspect it for… ‘interior faces?’ XD
Great job on this, love the teeth!
Great close up scene. Very effective.
Good eye complete with an iris too.
@BH67 Was thinking about setting up a scene to showcase the teeth I am proud of in the “best” possible angle with some dramatic tone. This is the result
@NP5 Thanks, although eye could be much better, but I wanted to share this quickly, so rushed it littbe bit.
@Megane_Wang I already saw som of the Blender Collabs…not confident to participate in it
That’s fair - it will be there if and when you feel like giving it a shot =)
It’s all about the closeup shot. That looks great! Plus we get to see the details in the eyes and teeth. I’m ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille! Great job on this project
Thank you very much, any advice from the expert with Blender? I already went through old Blender Collabs and you won multipletimes
You are kind. I am definitely not a master. I am always learning something new on this community. If you haven’t already, check out the great Wiki that @FedPete put together: WIKI - Interesting forum topics, problem solving issues - Blender Courses / Talk - GameDev.tv
There’s a lot of great stuff on there. Also, I highly recommend ALL of Grant’s courses. I think I have gone through about 2/3rds of them now. And, if you haven’t done it yet, give the Blender Guru Blender Donut tutorial a try. I think it’s become a right of passage for all Blender beginners :).
And please feel free to enter the weekly Blender Collabs. This is how I’ve really grown and learned, by coming up with something for each weekly topic (when I have the time to do so, that is).
Thanks for all given advice. I have few Blender courses bought from GameDev.tv currently going through the first one - Low poly Lighthouse, Dungeon, Dino,…
Finished the Dino section and I am currently occupied by one of the I would say bigger project in Blender that tooks all of my free time, struggled a lot, learnt also a lot and looking forward to the reaction of my next post.
In this time I have only couple of models, but I am proud of it!! Even though I know, that anyone more experienced could pull this out with more ease and quickly.
Sure, but keep in mind how they got that experience. They’ve just been in the game longer =)
