Like many free software suits, Blender is available on Steam! For Steam users, just navigate to the store and search for “Blender”.
Two reasons this may be advantageous: Steam provides opt-out automatic updates, and tracks the number of hours you spend in a game or program! For me personally, I know that seeing the hours tick up in Blender will help me to have a sense of progression.
