My blender started laging so much eaven in a plane seen with only one qube in it. i cant uese it… it is like there are no more memmory, i tried reinstaling blender, resetting userprefrens to normal, reinstalling the grafic card and restarting my computer.
My settup: Intel icore i7 4720 2,6gh - 8gb ram - Gforce GTX 960M

Update your Graphics drivers would be the first thing I do.
i have no tryd that once more, still dint help anny, i may have to reinstall my hole computer. ore i my need to og tho the computer doctor where i both it… -Hope not-
Now i have resett my hole computer, deleted all and reinstaled it, no chance, so now i dont know…

Is Blender lagging without any meshes in it?
Or are you working on a big project? If you have millions of vertices, then that’s a pretty big strain on the PC. Can you take a screenshot of your Blender open and post it up?
I have the user startupp file frome blender when u install IT fore the first time like one Cube a lamp and a camra… il post tomorro a screenshot…
Huh, and your computer doesn’t lag otherwise? Like when watching movies or playing games?
Just my two cents worth and not a solution but, I have noticed as well that sometimes, for no apparent reason, Blender will really lag on my Mac at times. I can find no reason why it should be lagging other than the internet seems to be lagging at the same time as well. If I come back to the file in a few hours or the following day, it seems to work fine. I never had this issue before Blender 2.77 (currently using 2.78 happens with it also) but, I was not doing a lot of viewport rendering with prior versions either.
no the computer works normal with gta5 and portols 2, no lag ther… thats whats so frustrating…
I think i need a new computer… I have to start saving fore a bether one…

My sulution was tho jump back to a former working grafic card driver… so now its fixed… no wrong in blender… it was the grafic card driver…
