Blender 2.91: Issue Pinned Down

Hello Everyone,

While going through lecture 43, section three: Bowling Balls and Pins, I saw that the internal video update was, well, out of date if you are using an even later version of blender. You can technically do what was originally done by the instructor, save for an extra side trip over into the Object Data Properties.

  1. Set to Front: Works again as originally described in the video. Just head over to Object Data Properties and turn on the “In Front” option.
  2. Transparency: If you turn on the transparency (no longer opacity) in the Object Data Properties, you can change the image transparency within Object Properties as originally described in the Video.

Alternatively:
There is yet another option that seemed to have been overlooked in both videos: Turn on transparency mode near the wireframe option or use (shortcut: alt+z).
