So just finished modeling the character and shaded smooth, then this happened. Anyone knows how to fix?

It will be related to the mirroring.
You have clipping on which should have covered it though.
You need to check the verts on the mirror line are not past the centre and therefore not close enough to clip.
There is a chance of an inside face across the body perhaps?
Check the normals too.

Spot on. Perhaps also it’s better not to have merge on if the mirror will eventually be applied to a copy?

Inside face just select and delete it.

Feel dumb rn because I was trying to dissolve instead of deleting. But it worked thanks a lot really
