Bishop made with Bezier Curve

Using the Bezier curve from the last section, I appended the pawn base, scaled it up, placed/adjusted some points for a curve, then went through and dissolved/collapsed vertices until it was roughly how I wanted it. At this point in the lessons they have not shown how they want to add the notch so I haven’t given it a go yet.

Using the curves is a good way to make the shapes. Just so long as you are already confident in working the other way that the course is teaching.
Looks very nice.

I tried making the pieces in a few different ways including adding objects and removing intersecting geometry, as well as extending and scaling to roughly the right shape. When I held them all side by side, even if I were to make the shape low poly, I think I would prefer the Bezier curve Pieces.

Although all three could look good with enough time and effort.
