Big World

I would like to see a course with a world of size a planet for a single person (or multiplayer) shooter.

I am not sure which engine can support it.

Parts of the course:

  1. create a world space of a real planet or moon size
  2. procedural content generation only basics
  3. paint a world with oceans, islands, continents, main hills and mountains. Explain how the procedural content generation works in this case.
  4. create a single player shooter. Where a player can walk, drive a car, fly with a plane for instance.
  5. create creatures with a simple AI. zombies AI is enough.
  6. how to create features like birds in sky, animals on ground.
