I feel that most of what is being done now is minutia that would be hidden by the clothes. It is good practice to get an eye for details. For example, the belly button. It is nice to know how to put one in without going to dyntopo sculpting, but the reference image with clothes has the belly completely covered. Almost can’t see it unless you look for it in the angle I shot it from. Better lighting would make a difference.
