Being pushed back when picking up objects again

I’ve just returned to Building Escape to expand it a little as advised after completing the tank section. I didn’t get too ambitious, just added a third room with a basic challenge to put hoops of various colours on matching platforms. Artistically it’s pretty terrible, but was useful to do a bit of solo coding and forced me to learn about Dynamic Material Instances.

I’m having a problem where I get pushed backwards when picking up the hoops. This was similar to one that was resolved in the lectures, but the solution to that (if I remember correctly) was constraining rotation of the player pawn. I checked and that is still set correctly. Also I’m not getting the issue (as least not nearly as pronounced) with the chair and table objects. I’ve checked the physics settings of those against my hoops several times, and I can’t see any difference that would account for the difference in behaviour … but must be missing something, so if anyone has any ideas I’d like to hear them!
