I think we were supposed to use the low-poly pawn for this step, but what I want to get out of this class is learning to make 3D art and not game assets, so I am staging a little rebellion and using my high-poly pieces instead. I have a feeling that this decision is going to bite me on the ass when we get to making the knight piece, but I’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
