Well at this beginner stage make the sheet as a box like the bed. You can then delete the ‘open’ top end and bottom.
There is a cloth physics system that can drop that flat sheet over the bed and make it act like cloth but it is not covered in the course. A bit non beginner. Better to learn more basics first.

Try to find a YouTube video. Because it’s not beginner level.
The cloth needs to have the Cloth simulator (more vertices, more quality, slower the computer)
The block (bed), needs to be “Colision” type.
- Cloth has "Physics property* “Cloth”, as shown
- Block has "Physics property* “Collision”
Press space bar, to start animation physics calculation.
The cloth will fall down on the block and deforms.
