Welcome to the Unreal Engine Developer

Hi all, my name is Brent. I am a 30ish year old innovation and market research professional. Looking to build working knowledge of Unreal Engine / C++ in order to build my own prototypes and test proofs of concept.

Well, what should I say? Had been a long time since I posted something in a forum so…
I studied 3D Art & Animation in Cologne but I´m a newbie in game programming.
I´m trying to get into the business and I´m sure this course will help me a lot

My name is Jeff.

I’m a UX researcher.

I’ve worked on a few titles in the gaming industry, but on the research (psychology) side.

I took this course not only to increase my skill set but give myself the ability to work on some personal projects. I have some prior experience with C++ in college as well as UDK; however, my C++ knowledge needs refreshing and while UDK and UE4 are similar in some areas, they’re still not the same.

Hi everyone,

I’m a recent Biomedical Sciences graduate with an interest in computing. I plan on doing a one-year Masters in Computer science next year and wanted to first learn how to code by making computer games. Been enjoying it so far!

Happy holidays everyone! My name is Jamy, from the US, and I’m taking this course to develop games as a programmer! I’m super excited and I hope to get an internship or a job in the game/animation industry. I want to apply these skills as soon as summer 2017 for an internship at Lucasfilm! In the meantime, I’m taking a course in January at a community college in order to be eligible for internships for students.

Hello everyone, i’m Marcos Vinícios, from Brazil.
I’m excited to learn a lot of things about the Unreal engine and C++.
Good lucky for everyone and let’s give our best.

Hi friends, I’m Wayne and from Northern NSW in Australia. I currently work as a web developer/IT guy for an ad agency, and I have a bachelors degree in IT, majoring in Software Engineering. The web world isn’t quite scratching my itch for “real” programming, and I’ve always had a huge love for all forms of gaming from a very young age, so I’m taking this course to hopefully learn a few of things and explore my passions and creativity, and who knows, maybe pursue being an indie game developer down the track once I’ve got a bit of know-how. Good luck to everyone, look forward to learning and seeing you all along the journey.

I’m a teacher here, a computer teacher where I teach my students about animations and game design, But I think that the training that i receive was not enought, so I decide to improved my knowledge and skills to teach them right.

Since I was 5 yo, I am fascinated by games, I always tried to learn and get envolved in this field but I lack the opportunity to do it, now I can finally learn something usefull about it.

My goal here is to learn as much as I can and apply this in my classes to help the students to have the best classes ever.

Good luck to everyone and keep up the good work.

Hello all! My name is Ben and I am an aerospace engineer from Ottawa, Canada. I have recently discovered photogrammetry and I would like to get some of my VR projects off the ground and useable. I think that this course is offering what I need to make that happen - I am really excited to meet all of you and learn about UE4.

Hello all, Im Rich, I live in Guildford, England and I run a new start up that specialises in experiential marketing and brand activation. Im interested in using Unreal for 3D modelling so I can bring some of my clients brands to life in digital space.

So far so good!

Sorry for being late, but nice to meet you all.

Hey, folks, I’m Chris. I’m a video game writer wanting to move into design, and I’m hoping to use Unreal to power some games for my portfolio.

Hi Everyone,

Zoltan here, from the UK, Coventry. As most of you my goal is to be in the game industry and create games. In my spare time a C# developer

Hi everyone. I am Andrew. I was taking the Unity course but found Unity to be too new. It updates and tosses out old code too often. It was getting hard to keep up with the classes and then figure out the new code being put in. So I am here hoping for better results.
