Am I right in thinking that this post processing effects volume will also affect your camera if you get too close to the enemy AIs when they are taking damage? I noticed that when I shoot a “dead” enemy AI and I’m standing near them, I get a bunch of blurry effects (not the exact same effect configured, maybe just one of them) and this is the only thing I can think of.

Possibly. There should be a way to avoid this though.
