Here is my breakfast scene:
I used Principled Shader in Cycles of course since it is a very simple scene, I can live with spending a minute or 2 rendering it.
Used a cylinder for the cup, removed top face, used a torus for the handle, removed half of its faces, rotated it and flipped normal on the handle, joined with the cup, and then applied the solidify modifier. Flipping the normal on the torus was necessary since when joined with the cup, it would thicken outward and I did not want the handle to look bulkier, so only the cup looked solidified.
