Here is my Eye Ball Man. I tried to do an ALT D to copy the eyeball but at the end when I parented the eyes to the head, I got errors when trying to apply scale and rotation to the individual eyes. The head applied with no problem but the eyes would not. I tried to make each eye Local but that didn’t help the situation. I re-made the character and used the Shift D to copy the eye and when I did CTRL A to apply scale and rotation (after changing the whole character’s size, everything worked as expected.
