I had a bit of trouble parenting using just the bone feature, the eye bones started going into weird places, but I found “Bone Relative” fixed that problem for parenting everything to each other. I basically parented:
eye_left - Bone_eye_left
eye_right - Bone_eye_right
Bone_eye_right - Head_bone
Bone_eye_left - Head_bone
and just to show off, I made a new empty and added some tracking constraints to each eye bone and had it look at “Eye_controller”. I parented Eye_controller to Head_Bone and everything seems to work!

I DIDNT CREATE THE NEW BONES FROM WITHIN THE ORIGINAL BONES ARMATURE! ARGH!
Ok, that’s what I missed! I think things will go a little more smoothly from here. I hope. xD

It got me several tries to figure out I have to parent the eyes to the bones in Pose Mode! This was driving me crazy!
