Basic Model Organization (Collections)

I realize collections or new and kinda unknown.

But if you have 2 or more separate collections with the same object in them and
you Unlink the object in all collections.

Is that the same as deleting the object or is it a case where the object is still in the
blend file and no longer accessible?

I know I’m a little late to this… but unlinking is not the same as deleting, and they should still be accessible in your .blend file.
