one thing I noticed is that if I have all my previously drawn axes in front of me, it provides some reference so I try to remember to change the shape a little from older attempts. this one was a little easier than the swords one but some of my axes lean more towards decorative than functional : ) I actually thought about these before drawing so it was more than one minute but I didn’t think of the shape, I just thought of things like, magical axes, axes with eyes one them to guide to the target, what kind of axe would a dwarf use, fairytale axe, etc. forgot I wasn’t done with the instructional video so I might redo these after studying some ref.
