Authentication via SSH keys failed

Cannot Clone repo. I get this sequence of messages.

you can see here in the ‘Pageant Key List’ box that I have loaded a generated key

so I press ‘retry’, like it says and I get this. An error loop with no end.

I tried to create more SSH keys with the different formats provided, there are three to choose from, but none of them work. Also adding an SSH key in the options menus under tools on the General page does not work either.

Problem debugged. Ben forgot to mention that new users will need to copy and paste the SSH key that Putty generates into Git. By right clicking your personal icon, going to ‘Settings’, then ‘SSH and GPG keys’ then pasting and saving the key into Github.
