I’d recommend to try Waveform Free | Tracktion which is more interface friendly and it is using non destructive workflow instead of Audacity.
Also I want to point that if someone is planning to use loops in project then mp3 format isn’t good for this purpose. When it’s saved It adds to file few audible samples at the end, so it’ll never be a good loop, at least I don’t know the way how to get rid of this.
