I want to create a 2D top down level where fog rolls in from the edges. My plan is to place particle emitters around the perimeter of my level, but I am not sure how. Can I attach particle emitters to tiles and then place those tiles all around my level, or is there an easier way?

The fog emitting tiles sounds like an interesting idea. Unfortunately, I do not know if it is possible to assign particle systems to single tiles. Maybe to a tilemap layer. Maybe you’ll have to place separate game objects. Maybe you’ll have to write your own solution to detect the edges of the tiles. If this was my problem, I would do some research on the internet based on the aforementioned “maybes”.
