Artefacting around eyes

So… I did the eyes, but had to change the shape of the head around a bit to fit. After it some red area appeared around, that is impossible to paint with vertex painting. I don’t know what to do with it :frowning:

I would start with the obvious check face orientation.

Is there any overlapping confused mesh in that thin over the eyeball area?
Vertex painting need vertices, how is the mesh density?

Thanks, I’ve checked it. All the faces are fine, the mesh is a bit messy, but not much more than on the other highly detailed areas

Okay, it`s solved. The problem was it some of the layers i didn’t check. Now it’s looking good.

These dark spots, around the eyes are probably not smoothed.
Select object and select smoothing (again).

And how is the result when rendering?
Because in work mode, Eevee is used.

Also, the next step would be to retopologize the mesh. Triangles are no good.
