For whatever reason I was unable to adjust the mesh arms in the viewport, any movement i did to them didnt show up in the game, to workaround that I just adjusted the camera instead. Seems to work the same
If anyone else gets stuck with this the way I fixed it was to delete the FPS_Character instance in the level and add it again(Don’t forget to set it to auto possess Player 0 again).
I don’t know why but it seems that the version in the level gets out of sync with the blueprint class and that’s why when you try to move the arms nothing happens. If you move the arms in the level instance, then it responds. I’d love to know more about how this can happen though.
