I’ve followed the tutorial to the exact letter. And yet, I have an arm that becomes distorted when rotated downward as shown in “Parenting & Weights”.

nvm, I figured out why. I was so focused on resetting the object’s scale that I overlooked the armature. Once I reset it, the arm rotates perfectly.
