The newer versions of Unity don’t ship with MonoBehavior. I updated and found that even though I had MonoDevelopment, it couldn’t do intellisence anymore. I moved to Visual Studio Code on my computer at home but you have to download the Unity specific plugins. It’s also a little devious, because you can have VS Code up as the plugins are downloading, look to the bottom to see your progress
