Another high-poly knight

Michael: This one will probably take you a good 10-15 minutes or so to do.

Me, four days and a lot of vertex-related existential crisis later:

This knight has been a massive learning journey for me - mirroring, sculpting, various methods of fixing vertex issues, simplifying geometry, boolean operations, merging objects without matching geometry.

But it’s made me realize I maybe do have a possible future in 3d modelling.

Criticism welcome!


The end result counts!
You spend a lot of time on the ears, mouth, nose.
But you render it in the dark spot.
I understand the position of the head, left to right (=positive). But it too dark.
Adding an extra light of low intensity as a huge emitting source (no / less shadow), could bring the head details more in sight.
