Animation State Machine?

Hello all,

Just a quick question. I suppose I should know this by now, but, I can’t remember any lectures where it was taught, but, in this vid we are cuting and pasting some blend space and variables and pasting them into the State Macine. Now, as close as I can figure we can “cut” stuff by hitting the “Delete” key but, how on Earth do we paste theese things into the State Machine when there is no paste function, they just seem to magically appear. I do recall another vid in the “Building Escape” series where the lecturer did copy and paste UV thingies into the material section but I couldn’t figure out how he did so I had to do everything manually. I won’t do that here I could really stuff everything up - I’ve already had to Undo the delete a couple of times. I’m sure it’s simple, but, I don’t know and when you don’t know, you just don’t know - you know.

Thanking you in advance!

Cut isn’t the same as delete. Cut is essentially copy + delete.

Pretty much in every single program you encounter

Ctrl + C = Copy
Ctrl + X = Cut
Ctrl + V = Paste

I honestly did not know that.

Apart from an old image editing program that I use I had no idea that this was a standard convention.

I’ll try to remember that!
