Animation and potential Inverse Kinematics problem solution

I ran into a pretty silly issue, and if anyone else comes across it, hopefully this helps. When I tried to translate the hips, the bone turned orange like it had a constraint on it and would not translate, only rotate. It turns out I re-rigged and set up Inverse Kinematics, but never turned off Auto-IK. Once I turned Auto IK back off, everything worked as expected. I redid my animation so far after turning autoIK off, and it can be seen below. Hopefully this helps if you came here frustrated and confused because your bones aren’t moving.
